Great Grandma Stella

It's official. Rylee is going to be like Grandma Stella. The day after her birthday (and everyday since) she has been talking about being almost 5... Hope this little post brings back some fond memories of Grandma Stella for everyone!

Rylee's 4th Birthday

After the weekend of parties, baking the cake for daycare...we thought we were done... Nope! Here is Rylee opening more presents on her actual birthday from Grandma Deb, Aunt Jan & Uncle Steve, Cousin Andi and Cousins Jim, April, Rylee B, Ethan and soon to be Payton! :) Thanks everyone!

My little helpers...they love licking the beater and spatula! Oh, and Rylee's new thing is crossing her eyes (she calls it googly eyes)... Rylee decorated the cake on the morning of her birthday. You'll notice sleeping beauty is on top!!!

Big Boy Bed

Yes, Paul has officially moved into a big boy bed! He moved into it on April 16th...this is him on the morning of April 17th. After I got him dressed, he just kept getting into the bed, so I took his picture! He is so proud to be a big boy!

CC's Birthday Party

Last weekend, Rylee and Paul went to CC's birthday party at jump a lot on Sunday. Uncle Donnie and Papa came along to "help"...but I think they had as much fun, if not more, than the kids at the party!

The Final Event

The last event of the birthday party was a scavenger hunt. Papa was the clue reader and the kids all ran up and down the stairs in search of their goody bags. They had such fun and all wore their safari hats!



The rest of the party consisted of the kids making monkey door hangers for their bedrooms out of foam stickers, etc. They played pin the banana on the monkey (drawing courtesy of Uncle Donnie) and also had mini cupcakes with animal crackers on top! What a great 4th birthday party!!!

Rylee's 4th Birthday Party

We celebrated Rylee's 4th Birthday today! She had a safari party and invited several of her friends from the neighborhood and from daycare! It was a huge success thanks to my helping hands - Rob, Papa and Uncle Donnie! Thanks Guys!

Fires? Already?

Mom left yesterday morning to head to Texas for a fire assignment. We are in disbelief that there could actually be a fire somewhere when Mom and Dad still have a foot of snow in their yard....actually, it snowed in CDA this morning. Can you believe it? April 15th and it's snowing! Oh, and one last thing...it's my last day of tax season! HOORAY!

The other night Rylee was putting on a concert and said "Paul, it's your turn to sing" and this is what he did. It was so cute, I ran and got my camera and she asked Paul to do it again! Funny. So, Donnie, Jimmy and Andi...we will soon be enjoying concerts from our future air band!

So, last weekend Dad came to take care of the kids since Rob was fishing and we got about 8" of snow. So, I was glad to have Dad here to help with the shoveling!!!
