Paul's New Bed

Paul has been wanting to change his room.  So, a few weeks ago, he and Paul built him a bunk bed!  Last weekend, Grandpa Deb and Tom came over to paint the bed and re-decorate!  He is pretty exicted!

My boys finally got to wear their jerseys to school.  They planned to wear them on Fridays!  So stinking cute!

Jerseys

Paul's friend Connor spent the day with us before he left to spend Christmas with his grandparents in Montana.  The boys got to open up Christmas presents from each other.  Connor's mom got the boys matching jerseys (with their own last names!)

St Paddys Day

The kids were at Gram and Pops the morning of St Paddys day.  When they got home, they found these rainbow jars downstairs.  

 They headed upstairs and realized that the little leprechaun had come by and messed up their rooms!

Fire Station

Last weekend, Paul and I headed to the fire station for a tour of the fire house and demonstration.  The kids were able to climb into all the trucks, put on the gear (the hats were really heavy) and participate in an obstacle course.

They also had an education trailer set up where we learned to stay low if in a fire, how to feel the door to see if it's hot, to call 911 and to have an escape plan!  Paul thought that was pretty cool!

Mullan Pool

The kids spent some time in the Silver Valley during Spring Break and Papa took them up to the Mullan Pool.  They had a blast!  Paul took the swim test so he was able to jump off the high dive!  The pool even has a slide now.  Lucky kids!

Paul's lost tooth

Paul lost a top front tooth awhile back.  He looks so cute with his missing tooth!

Dentist

Both kids went to the dentist a few weeks ago for the 6 month check up.  They both love going because they get to watch movies while waiting for the dentist.

Baking

The kids have really been wanting to help out in the kitchen lately.  It is fun letting them help out.  One night, Rylee made brownies all by herself.  They were delicious and she had a lot of fun learning how everything worked.  

Piano

Rylee started piano lessons in January and has really been enjoying it.  

Skyway Spelling Bee

Rylee participated in her classroom spelling bee and made it to the top 3.  She then competed with the rest of the classes from 3rd grade.  There was 12 students competing (3 from each of the 4 third grade classes).  Rylee ended up getting 2nd place!  The 1st place winner competed in the district spelling bee and he got 1st place in the district.  

Skate Plaza during Christmas Break

We met up with some friends at skate plaza during Christmas Break.  The kiddos had a blast!

Friends!!!

On Thursday and Friday last week, the kids after school/summer school program was closed getting prepared for the upcoming School Year, so each kiddo invited a friend over to spend the day.  This is the only picture I took!!  Eating lunch!  Rylee with her friend Katelyn and Paul with his friend Cooper!  The kids jumped on the trampoline, visited Kristy (they all met at Kristy's daycare), built a fort, dressed up and just had fun!!!!

We headed downtown a few weeks ago to check out Tom's artwork and demonstration at a local gallery, then decided to head to Crickets for dinner.  The kids order root beer floats...we were not expecting them to be this big!!!

We had a massive rain storm a few days ago and the kids just could not help themselves!  They had so much fun playing in the rain!

Planting the Garden

Rob and the kids planted the garden a week or two ago!  They love helping (or is it that they LOVE playing in the dirt?).
