Working and working

What would Memorial Day at the lake be without working and working? We decided to fall a tree and then did all of the clean up...the kids are hard workers!!!!

Ummm...brrr

It was a cold, wet Memorial Day weekend so far...but that does not stop the Strobel kids from going swimming. All I have to say is brrrrrrr!

Sandwich

This is a picture of Rylee from a couple of weeks ago. We were eating dinner and she finished up and declared that she was still hungry and would like a cheese sandwich please. Well, the rest of us were still eating, so I said "you can make one yourself or wait until I'm done eating". Well....she decided to make one herself. Her first time making her own sandwich. I'm not sure when most kids start making their own sandwiches...maybe earlier in life, maybe later. I'm not sure....but Rylee can now make her own sandwiches. Is she growing up way too fast???? I think so...but she certainly is turning into a wonderful little lady!

OUCH!

As you can tell from the previous posts, Rylee is like a little monkey! Always on the monkey bars, hanging from bars & she does gymnastics. Well, last night at gymnastics she was on the uneven bars when she had her first blister pop! Ouch! Poor little darling. She was pretty emotional until I said "well, we can just head home and miss the rest of your class". She jumped right back up for gymnastics (no more uneven bars though!) Here is a picture of her poor little hand!

Hooray for Park Weather

The kids and I headed to the Park on Saturday for some play time and a picnic with some friends from down the street!
