Chicago Trip

I took a solo trip to Chicago to meet up with Donnie and a couple of college friends (Jason and Jake).

Donnie picked me up from the airport!  We are pretty excited!!!!  

 We had dinner on the 95th floor of the Hancock building!  What a beautiful view!

Earlier in the day, we headed to the observatory in the Hancock building!  Spectacular!

 On Friday night, we cruised around downtown and checked out the giant bean!

 The boys even convinced me to try some sushi!

Chicago, Part V

On our last day in Chicago, we went to the Brookfield Zoo.

 Our friend from grade school through high school Amber was able to meet up with us at the zoo with her 2 girls.  It was so good to see her and meet the twins!

After the zoo, we headed to the airport and headed back home!  It was so much fun!!!

Chicago Trip, Part IV

Trip to the city!  We took the train into the city to have lunch and see the Giant Jelly Bean!

Chicago Trip, Part II

On Thursday, we went to the Legoland Discovery Center.  The kids had a lot of fun and I was amazed at what can be made with legos!!!
