Dentist

Both kids went to the dentist a few weeks ago for the 6 month check up.  They both love going because they get to watch movies while waiting for the dentist.

Baking

The kids have really been wanting to help out in the kitchen lately.  It is fun letting them help out.  One night, Rylee made brownies all by herself.  They were delicious and she had a lot of fun learning how everything worked.  

Piano

Rylee started piano lessons in January and has really been enjoying it.  

Skyway Spelling Bee

Rylee participated in her classroom spelling bee and made it to the top 3.  She then competed with the rest of the classes from 3rd grade.  There was 12 students competing (3 from each of the 4 third grade classes).  Rylee ended up getting 2nd place!  The 1st place winner competed in the district spelling bee and he got 1st place in the district.

Skate Plaza during Christmas Break

We met up with some friends at skate plaza during Christmas Break.  The kiddos had a blast!

Monkey Madness Gymnastics Meet

Rylee participated in a Gymnastics Meet in February and did great!

 She received 1st place in beam and bars, 2nd place in vault and floor and 1st place overall in the 10-11 year old group.  (They thought she was 10, she is only 8!)  She is an amazing gymnast!

Painting

We have been in our house for about 6 1/2 years, so we decided to change things up a little and paint a few of the walls.  One Saturday while I was at work, Rob taped up the windows, etc and got the kids painting.  They had so much fun and our house looks great!!!

Paul played in the parks and rec basketball league this season.  He has had a lot of fun learning the game, making new friends, and staying active.  His last game is tomorrow night!

SuperBowl Sunday

We had the usual crew over for the Super Bowl!  We were too busy watching the game to take pictures, but I did get a pic of Rylee playing cards (evidentally she doesn't like watching football???) and a picture of Paul and Tyler playing on the ipods/iphones.

Mini Olympics

Way back in January, Rylee participated in a Mini Olympics event at her gymnastics gym.  The theme was 80s so she got all dressed up!  They didn't actually score the competitors, so each one got a medal and a fun experience!
