Memory Moment - Thanksgiving Past

Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving Days in the past. What a great day to just enjoy family and remember how blessed we are!

Sorry about this first picture, I forgot to turn it, but one of Rob's first deep fried turkeys. I'm not sure what year this is from

Memory Moment - Ice Princess

2 years ago, Mom, Rylee and I went to Disney's Princesses on Ice. Before the show, we went to the mall and did this picture booth picture! Funny! Rylee LOVED the show 2 years ago. LOVED it! Her eyes lit up every time a princess would come onto the ice! What a wonderful memory :)

Disney On Ice

Pa and I took Paul to Disney On Ice yesterday. Rylee went with her friend Jenna. We ended up in the same section and one row away from each other. It was fun!

Memory Moment -- 10 years

A friend of mine blogs every Monday with a "monday memory moment". I am going to try to do the same on Sunday. I may not have a picture for everyone, but here goes the first of many...

Here is a picture of Rob and I soon after we started dating! Today, we have been together for 10 years. 10 years? Really? Where did the last 10 years go? It brings a smile to my face when I think of all of the wonderful things we have done together in the last 10 years. We both graduated from the greatest college in the world, we moved to CDA, started new jobs, bought a house, sold a house, bought another house, had 2 amazing children, made new friends, kept in touch with old. The list could go on and on. I am so thankful for Rob and everything he brings to my life! I think I fall more and more in love with him as each day passes!! Love you honey! Happy Anniversary! ;)

Day with Great Grandma Strobel

Rob, the kids and I went to Moscow last weekend to spend time with Great Grandma Strobel before she heads west for the winter (and Gina went to the football game!) Here is Rylee and Great Grandma getting their nails done (Rylee thought this was pretty neat!)
Great Grandma and Rylee's nails! Rylee got little flowers put on her ring fingers with a little diamond bling in the middle! Thanks Great Grandma for spoiling our little girl!

Rylee had 4 of her girlfriends over the other day to watch the new Tink movie and just play. Here is Gabby, Jenna, Rylee, Alise and Katelyn. Rylee and Alise

Halloween 2009

Miss Averie Barnes as Pebbles The fireman

We went up to Dale and Mary Ralston's (Barnes' parents) after the game to have dinner and trick or treat in her neighborhood. We only trick or treated for about 30 minutes (because the kids had enough candy from the parade to last them a lifetime!) and when we got back to Dale and Mary's, there was something WRONG. There were chairs turned over, leaves all over the floor and a partially burned note on the table. Evidentally, the WITCH had come by when we were out trick or treating and wanted to party with Rylee and Paul. She was mad that they weren't there, so the witch, made a mess and left a note and presents for Ry and Paul.
The first picture is of Rylee hearing the story of the witch...she could NOT believe it!
Here is the note

Here was the little gifts they got. A teddy bear in a pumpkin costume that giggles and a stress head (it's eyes pop out when you squeeze it)

Thanks Dad for this Vandal of an Idea

Vandal Football

These picts are from the game against Loisianna Tech...a crazy close game that we won by 1 point. This is Stacy dressed as a Vandal queen! :) Here is Rylee chugging...a true Vandal (um, the cup actually had bugles in it, but I thought it was cute)

The final score! :)

Tailgate

The Vandalance
I don't know who this belonged to, but it cracked me up! While we were standing near them, we saw them break out the units of blood (I am going to assume, it was a plastic bag full of vodka infused juice or something to that effect...too funny!)
