Such sweet gifts!

Great Grandma Miller made the kids gifts this year (Santa delivered them!)  The kids LOVE the stuff she makes.

Family Pictures

While out in Athol, we decided to do some family pictures!  Here they are!  I think GV got some additional groups, so I will try to post those too later!

Christmas in Athol

The day after Christmas, we headed out to Athol for another Christmas Celebration!  Of course, the food was wonderful!  We played a game with a gigantic dice and Santa Claus came to deliver the presents that GG Miler made!

Here we are playing the game.  First, we handed out gifts to EVERYONE.  But no one could open it.  Then we had each child roll the dice and whatever number it landed on, we would switch presents that many times.  After each kid had rolled the dice, we all got to keep whatever gift we ended up with!  It was pretty fun!  Thank you Grandma Vickie!

Santa showed up and the kiddos went crazy!

Grandma Vickie was trying to get on the good list for this year....think it worked?

Christmas Day

On Christmas Day, we gathered at our house for gift opening and a yummy salmon dinner!  GV & Papa, Gram Deb, Tom and Rach all came over.  We opened gifts, played with our new gadgets, got tattoos (I'll explain later!), ate a yummy salmon dinner and then watched one of the kids new movies!  What a great day!!!

Dinnertime!

We made a delicous cake!

Christmas Morning

Christmas Morning ~~~~~~~  The kids were so excited to see the presents that Santa left for them!  They got busy opening right away!

Santa brought Paul this monster truck...he could not believe his eyes.

Santa brought Rylee a whole bunch of squinkies...she was so excited!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve in Osburn, as usual!  It was such a nice day and SUPER GOOD FOOD!  I tried to get the kids to bug Grandma Vickie by saying "Can we please open just 1 present...please....pretty please" but they didn't go for it, they only asked once.  Donnie and I used to be ruthless with the "Just 1 present, PLEASE".

Here are Paul and Papa finishing up frosting the sugar cookies (Rylee, GV and Mom helped too...but Paul & Pops went to the end!)

Christmas puppies (well, not quite puppies anymore!)

 Paul got a dinosaur
Rylee got a fur real dog (her name is Snowflake!)
Gus was in heaven sitting the Great Grandpa (he was even happier later in the evening when he got his Christmas bone!)
Papa got a new ladder for Christmas.  The kids dropeed their toys and played with this for quite awhile.

SLEEPOVER

Rylee's friend Jenna stayed overnight at our house on the Saturday before last.  We went to Skate Plaza on Saturday!  Here are the kids after they were done skating

The next morning we decided to paint an apron that we had leftover from making Gram's apron.  Here they are with GREEN HANDS!!!
 The end product!

Making Grandma Vickie's Apron

This year, Grandma Vickie's 4 Grandkids decided to make her an apron for Christmas. Below are some pictures of us creating it and the end product!

PS -- Rylee and Paul's hands are really close to being theSAME SIZE...what?  When did Paul get to big?

All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth

The 2nd Front tooth is finally gone.  Here is the story:  Rylee was at School Plus today since school is out and  Rob & I had to work.  They had a bouncy house for the kids to play in.  She went into the bouncy house with some of her girlfriends and they decided to bounce around with their eyes closed and Rylee and another girl bumped into each other.  She then felt something in her mouth and it was her tooth!!!

Mockmas 2010

Mockmas 2010 was last weekend at Jan & Steve's house. It will probably be the last one as Jan & Steve plan on selling their house this spring.  It was so nice to get together with everyone again this year!

The kiddie table (why isn't Jim sitting here?)

sorry...I cut April out of this picture
Paul got a rocketship for Christmas
Rylee B & Ethan got the State Quarter books and a roll of quarters.  They had a lot of fun putting these together
Paul had everyone helping him to color his rocketship

Skate Plaza

On Saturday, we took the kids and one friend each to Skate Plaza.  Paul's friend wasn't feeling really good so he went home early and didn't want his picture taken.  The kids still had fun.  In this picture, Paul is trying to watch the races that were going on.

Rylee's Holiday Party

Rylee's holiday party at school was last Friday.  I was there to be a parent helper.  The school had a cute little concert in the morning.  I did not get any pictures of Rylee as the music teacher stood right in my line of sight.

After the concert, the 1st Graders had a Christmas Carnival.  Each room (5 different 1st grade classrooms) had a different theme (games in one, food in one, coloring in one, can't remember what the other one was & Rylee's room had christmas tree decorating!).  The Christmas trees were made out of ice cream cones and then smoothered with frosting and decorated with candy.  It was a really cute project and having 110 - 1st graders making them was chaotic, but FUN!  Below is Rylee making her tree and the finished product.  Can you say SUGAR????
