Thankful Week 52 (late)...Reindeer Food

Even though the kids are not going to Kristy's for daycare anymore, they still wanted to put out reindeer food!   Here they are putting out the reindeer food on Christmas Eve so the reindeer could come off the roof for a little snack!

Thankful, Week 51

I am so very thankful that Paul is enjoying school and fitting right in.  His school had a music program on Friday and I was able to go watch and then join his class party!  They made yummy waffle cone Christmas trees in the party!  They made the reindeer hats on Wednesday when I was volunteering in the class!

Thankful, Week 50

I am thankful that we live in such a beautiful place!  Rob, Rylee, Paul, Hannah, Cooper and myself went on the North Pole Cruise on CDA lake on Sunday.  The light display at the resort is amazing and the North Pole is beautiful!  All 4 of the kids were on the nice list!  Phew!!!  We were a little worried they might not make it!

Thankful, Week 49

I am so very thankful that we didn't fall through the ice.  I didn't want to go out on the lake, but Rob convinced me that it would be a cool picture so I did.  The picture did turn out pretty cool!  I am also thankful for our festivus tradition.  We had a great time out at Twin with yummy food and great company!

Thankful, Week 48

Last week, I am thankful that I have a good portion of my Christmas shopping complete.  Thanks Mom for joining me, it has become a fun tradition!

I am also thankful that the Vandal football season is over.  It has been a tough year and hopefully will be looking up next year!!!  (the last game on Saturday was pretty bad...I hope the only way to move is up!)

Thankful, Week 45

With the cold weather here, I am so thankful for the roof over my head!

Thankful Week 44 (also late!)

So very thankful that Grandma Strobel is healing nicely with a smile on her face.  When we saw her, they had her pretty drugged up, but she perked right up when we came in.  Since then, they have been weening her off the pain meds and she is more and more like herself.  It was so good to see her and we are so glad she is moving in a positive direction!  Love you GG Strobel!

Thankful, Week 43 (super late)

I am thankful for this lady and that little bundle in her belly!  We got to see each other at the Vandal Homecoming tailgate and I was so excited to see that belly of hers!!  She has her ultrasound tomorrow and we will get to find out if that belly holds a girl or boy!  Excited and thankful!!!

Good Bye Sweet Angel (thankful Week 42)

Last week, we had to say Good-Bye to Miss Angel (Angelica, Princess Ada, Old Bitty, or whatever you wanted to call her).  We love you so much Angel and will miss you so much! I am thankful that we got to spend 14 wonderful years with you!  We are also thankful that you are no longer in pain! :)

Thankful, Week 37

I am so thankful that the kids are loving school so far and have adapted really well.  Rylee had no problems jumping right into 2nd grade!  Her teacher's name is Mrs. Petersen and seems like she will be a great teacher!  (She went to school at UI so, she must be awesome!).  Paul had a little bit of trouble that first day...he was nervous and didn't want me to leave him, but by the end of the 1st day he was great!   Hooray for school and getting back to routines!

Thankful, Week 36 (super late...oops!)

I am a bit in late in posting this, but I am thankful for my sweet Hubby who recently turned 30-something....  Love you babe!!!!

These picts are kind of old...but still sweet! :)

Thankful, Week 34

The kiddos went to the dentist this morning and all looks good and no cavaties!  Hooray!!!  Doc said Paul may need a retainer for an underbite (just like his Mama) and Rylee may need a little help with crowding, but for the most part, their teeth look GREAT!!!  So thankful!

Thankful, Week 33

These two little sweethearts have been super helpful this week (it may have to do with the fact that they are trying to raise money to get a guinea pig, but either way, I will take it!)  Both kids helped me pick raspberries, strawberries and pea pods tonight and then helped water the garden then put everything away outside!  They are the best!  I love love love them!
