Thankful, Week 38

The weather is cooling down and it's football season!  Hooray!  Thankful that I live so close to Moscow so we can head down to the games!

Idaho v. North Dakota ~~~ Vandals Win!!!

Grandma Vickie and I headed down to Moscow last Saturday with the kiddos for some Vandal football.  Poor Pops had to work graveyard so wasn't able to come because he was sleeping.  We had a lot of fun and the kids found Joe Vandal this time!

First Day of School ~ 2011 ~

The first day of school was last Tuesday, September 6th. 

Paul began his very first day of Kindergarten and was pretty nervous.  He got the same teacher that Rylee had for K so that was nice to have something familiar.  He shed a few tears and wanted me to stay, but after the tour of the school, he took a deep breath, kissed me good-bye and wandered into his classroom! 

 Rylee started her first day of 2nd grade.  Rob dropped her off as both kids school started at about the same time.  She is pretty comfortable at school so it wasn't a big deal for her.  So far, she loves her teacher, her class and 2nd grade! 

Thankful, Week 37

I am so thankful that the kids are loving school so far and have adapted really well.  Rylee had no problems jumping right into 2nd grade!  Her teacher's name is Mrs. Petersen and seems like she will be a great teacher!  (She went to school at UI so, she must be awesome!).  Paul had a little bit of trouble that first day...he was nervous and didn't want me to leave him, but by the end of the 1st day he was great!   Hooray for school and getting back to routines!

Thankful, Week 36 (super late...oops!)

I am a bit in late in posting this, but I am thankful for my sweet Hubby who recently turned 30-something....  Love you babe!!!!

Paul got these really cool kits for his birthday to build things.  The other night, he and Rob put together a pirate ship!

Western Idaho Fair 2011

Since we went on our long road trip, we ended up missing the North Idaho Fair.  So, we decided to go to the Western Idaho Fair while in Boise.  It is bigger than the N.I. Fair and the kids had a good time!

Multnomah Falls

On Thursday morning after Andrea's wedding, we headed back to Idaho to spend some time with Donnie & his family.  We stopped at Multnomah Falls on the way....BEAUTIFUL!!!!
