Happy New Year!

We started out 2015 nice and cold by partaking in the Polar Plunge!  The only bad part is waiting to get into the water!  Our feet were freezing!  Rylee's boyfriend came down and plunged with us!  (We don't have any after pictures...we were too cold!)

 Since Rylee got her boot off before the end of the year, we decided to take advantage of that and hit the Kroc Center!  The kids love rock climbing and playing in the pool!

Rob took the kids over to the CDA Public Golf Course for some sledding fun!  It was crowded but still fun!  Paul crashed a couple of times, too!

We got Rylee's bed all ready to be decorated over the break.  She decided to paint some grapevines on it!  We still need to install the mirror, but it's looking pretty great already!

Crappie Tournament

Rick, Paul, Connor and Rob participated in a crappie tournament at Twin and won 1st place! 

Rob's Pike Tourney

Rob was in a pike tourney back in March and caught a 27lb pike.  It was huge and won the tourney!

Steelhead Trip

Rob took Paul down South for his first ever Steelhead fishing trip.  Paul was so excited, but Rob was a little nervous that Paul would be miserable.  It was super cold and they get up really early to get onto the water.  Well, they got all set up on Saturday morning and after 3 casts, Paul hooked his first Steelhead!  He caught and reeled it in all by himself!  Way to go Paul.  They caught 2 more fish over the weekend, but they couldn't keep any.  I'm pretty sure Paul is now hooked on Steelhead fishing. 

Hiawatha 2013

My office has made an annual event of riding the Hiawatha.  Here's the group!  GV was able to join us this year!

Paul tried out the snowboard while we were sledding the other day!  He loved it!

Tree Hunting at Festivus

We had our annual Festivus celebration yesterday out at Twin.  Before the festivities began, we took a road trip and all got our Christmas trees.  It was a beautiful day full of sunshine and everyone had a great time!

Hiawatha

My office planned a Hiawatha trip the office and our families.  It is a beautiful 16.5 mile bike ride!  Papa even joined us for this one too!

Stand Up Paddleboard

On my birthday, we headed down to the public beach along with Bierne and Theresa.  Rob went over to the  NIC area and rented a paddleboard.  We had so much fun on it!
