Santa Claus!

We went to see Santa Claus today at Cabelas!  Before we left the house, we asked the kids what they were going to tell Santa they wanted for Christmas and Rylee said a nook.  I told her that they can't make Nooks at the North Pole...it was too high tech.  So, what does she do??  When Santa asked her what she wanted for Christmas, she asked him if they make Nooks at the North Pole and he said yes, so she said, well that is what I want!  That little stinker!!!  

Paul told Santa he wanted some binocs, a crane, etc, etc.  So, Santa said, "oh, so you want a barbie?"  He got a little mad, but then giggled about it!!!  

 Rob told them to act silly...so Santa gave Paul bunny ears!

Thankful, Week 51

I am so very thankful that Paul is enjoying school and fitting right in.  His school had a music program on Friday and I was able to go watch and then join his class party!  They made yummy waffle cone Christmas trees in the party!  They made the reindeer hats on Wednesday when I was volunteering in the class!

Thankful, Week 50

I am thankful that we live in such a beautiful place!  Rob, Rylee, Paul, Hannah, Cooper and myself went on the North Pole Cruise on CDA lake on Sunday.  The light display at the resort is amazing and the North Pole is beautiful!  All 4 of the kids were on the nice list!  Phew!!!  We were a little worried they might not make it!

Thankful, Week 49

I am so very thankful that we didn't fall through the ice.  I didn't want to go out on the lake, but Rob convinced me that it would be a cool picture so I did.  The picture did turn out pretty cool!  I am also thankful for our festivus tradition.  We had a great time out at Twin with yummy food and great company!

Each year, Rob's best buddy Ryan has a festivus party.   The Festivus party was yesterday and out at Twin Lakes.  The lake was frozen over so we took advantage and played on the lake.  Rob convinced me to go out pretty far to get this picture!

Christmas Tree

Last weekend, we headed out to get our Christmas tree!  We picked out our family tree and the kids each got their own little tree for their bedrooms.

Thankful, Week 48

Last week, I am thankful that I have a good portion of my Christmas shopping complete.  Thanks Mom for joining me, it has become a fun tradition!

I am also thankful that the Vandal football season is over.  It has been a tough year and hopefully will be looking up next year!!!  (the last game on Saturday was pretty bad...I hope the only way to move is up!)
